Driver Runs Red Light, Causes Crash With Injury In Montgomery: Police
The Princeton driver was charged with careless driving after crashing into a Hillsborough driver, said police.
MONTGOMERY, NJ — A Princeton driver who ran a red light and crashed into a Hillsborough driver was issued a summons on Tuesday, said Montgomery Police.
On April 23 at 7:35 a.m., Montgomery Police and Montgomery EMS 47 were called to the intersection of Great Road and Cherry Valley Road for a motor vehicle crash with injury.
A police investigation found Brian S. Nethery, 40, of Princeton, was driving westbound on Cherry Valley Road in a 2017 Mini Cooper.

Nethery failed to obey the red traffic signal and crashed into a 2023 Kia Forte that entered the intersection going southbound on Great Road, said police.
The driver of the Kia, Brian Caycho, 32, of Hillsborough, had a complaint of head pain. All parties were evaluated on scene by EMS and refused medical aid.

Nethery was issued a summons for careless driving and is due to appear in Montgomery Municipal Court.
Both vehicles were towed from the scene. Traffic was delayed for about 45 minutes for police investigation and scene cleanup.
