Man Found Sleeping On Route 206 Median In Hillsborough

Graffiti found at Ann Van Middlesworth Park, car burglaries at Sourland Park, DWI arrests were reported in October in Hillsborough.

HILLSBOROUGH, NJ — A man found sleeping on a Route 206 median was among the number of incidents reported in Hillsborough in October, according to the police blotter.

On Oct. 8, Alexander Hernandez, 28, of Manville was issued a summons for disorderly conduct (disorderly persons) after he was found sleeping on the median of Rt. 206. He was released and advised of his Hillsborough Township Municipal Court date.

On Oct. 3: Kristian Fleming, 36, of Hillsborough was charged with simple assault (disorderly persons) after an investigation into an assault that took place at the Hillsborough Rotary Fair on Aug. 18. She was served a summons and released with a Hillsborough Township Municipal Court date.

On Oct. 6: Graffiti was found in the skateboard park of Ann Van Middlesworth Park. The damage is valued at $500. The investigation is ongoing.

On Oct. 6: A resident of Updike Avenue reported her license plates stolen off her vehicle in the driveway. She valued the plates at $140. The investigation is ongoing.

On Oct. 8: Graffiti was found in the men’s room of Ann Van Middlesworth Park. The damage is estimated at $50. The investigation is ongoing.

On Oct. 8: Maximo Esquilin, 63, of Union City was arrested for DWI while on a traffic stop on Amwell Road. He was processed and released with a Hillsborough Township Municipal Court date.

On Oct. 9: Two unlocked vehicles were entered in the parking lot of Sourland Park (439 East Mountain Road). Cash and credit cards were taken. The public is reminded to lock their vehicles at all times.

On Oct. 9: A resident of Sunnymead Road reported $300 worth of lights were stolen from a construction site. There are no suspects at this time. The investigation is ongoing.

On Oct. 9: An unlocked vehicle was entered while parked at the ShopRite (601 Rt. 206). $60 and a USB cord were taken. The investigation is ongoing.

On Oct. 12: Sandeep Mysore, 25, of Hillsborough was arrested for littering and hindering an investigation (both disorderly persons) by not identifying himself. He was summoned and released with a Hillsborough Township Municipal Court date.

On Oct. 14: David Glover, 19, of Latrobe, PA, Nikya Bryant, 19, of Abington, PA, and John Cummings, 19, of Philadelphia, PA, were all charged with theft and criminal mischief (both disorderly persons) after they were found to have broken into a drink cooler at the K Fuel (144 Rt. 206) and stole PowerAids and sodas. The value of the items was $233.

On Oct. 15: Bryan Kuan, 35, of Jersey City was arrested for DWI while on a traffic stop on Rt. 206. He was processed and released with a Hillsborough Township Municipal Court date.

On Oct. 16: Two residents on Woodruff Blvd reported the catalytic converters were stolen from their vehicles. The investigation is ongoing.

On Oct. 16: Dana Ostrowski, 40, of Hillsborough was arrested for DWI during a motor vehicle crash investigation on Millstone River Road. She was processed and released with a Hillsborough Township Municipal Court date.

On Oct. 16: David Briones, 47, of Hillsborough was arrested for DWI during a motor vehicle crash investigation on Marshal Road. He was processed and released with a Hillsborough Township Municipal Court date.

On Oct. 17: A resident reported the catalytic converter was stolen from his vehicle while parked on Alpine Court. They valued it at $2,000. The investigation is ongoing.

On Oct. 19: A resident of Annandale reported their unlocked vehicle was entered while at Sourland Park (439 East Mountain Road). Cash and credit cards were taken from the vehicle. The investigation is ongoing.

On Oct. 20: Andrew Greensburg, 64, of Skillman was arrested for DWI during a motor vehicle crash investigation on Rt. 206. He was processed and released with a Hillsborough Township Municipal Court date.

On Oct. 21: Tyrene Agosto, 45, of Belle Mead was arrested for DWI while on a traffic stop on the Rt. 206 Bypass. He was processed and released with a Hillsborough Township Municipal Court date.

On Oct. 22: John Abner, 31, of Manville was charged with resisting arrest (disorderly persons) after it was found he had outstanding warrants. He was processed and released with a Hillsborough Township Municipal Court date.

On Oct. 24: Bottle King (626 Rt. 206) reported a white female stole $300 worth of alcohol from the store. The female then fled in a red Honda CRV. The investigation is ongoing.

On Oct. 28: Chad Kordzikowski, 29, of Edison was arrested for DWI while on a traffic stop on Amwell Road. He was processed and released with a Hillsborough Township Municipal Court date.

On Oct. 29: Patricia Pena, 48, of Hillsborough was arrested for DWI while on a traffic stop on Andria Ave. She was processed and released with a Hillsborough Township Municipal Court date.

On Oct. 29: Craig Byra, 42, of Manville was arrested for DWI while on a traffic stop on Rt. 206. He was processed and released with a Hillsborough Township Municipal Court date.
