President Biden, Gov Murphy To Visit Manville To See Ida Damage
Manville residents are still recovering from Tropical Storm Ida where a house and restaurant blew up and severe flooding across the borough.
MANVILLE, NJ — President Joe Biden and Governor Phil Murphy will be in Manville Tuesday to assess the damage caused by Tropical Storm Ida.
Murphy tweeted about the visit on Saturday:
On Tuesday, @POTUS and I will survey devastating damage from Tropical Storm Ida in Manville. We’re grateful for the President’s leadership and support as we recover from this storm. Together, we will help New Jerseyans rebuild.https://t.co/srIK5Fepyc

Manville was devastated by the storm with one house exploding, another on fire and a popular former nightclub also exploding.
