Hamburguesa in Bloomfield generated a buzz in early October by saying they would give away free burgers during lunch and dinner, and they made good — they wound up giving away 700 on Oct. 4. There was more buzz later in the month when they announced they would open their new location at 706 Bloomfield Ave. in Montclair. King of Kobe, a New York-based hamburger restaurant specializing in Wagyu beef, announced in October that it has opened a location at Jersey City’s Newport Centre Mall.
