First New Jersey 'Hoot Wings' Hooters Spinoff Restaurant Opens
The fast casual chicken wing chain, run by the company that owns Hooters, plans to open eateries in Hoboken, Newark, and Atlantic City.
NEW JERSEY — Hoots Wings, a fast casual spinoff of the nationwide Hooters restaurant chain, opened its first location in Jersey City last month. Three more of the eateries will open in New Jersey in the next two years: in Hoboken, Newark, and Atlantic City, according to industry reports.
The Jersey City location, near the Hudson River waterfront at 525 Washington St., offers a menu focusing on wings and sauces: breaded wings, smoked, boneless, and "naked."
The menu also includes a chicken sandwich and saucy shrimp, and some locations serve snow crab legs and a salad. Sides include waffle fries, tots, mozzarella sticks, carrots & celery sticks, mac and cheese, fried pickles, and pretzel sticks.
