Hoboken Barbecue Joint Is Only NJ Restaurant On NYC 'Most Anticipated' List

HOBOKEN, NJ — Myron Mixon's new Pitmaster Barbecue restaurant, on the main drag of Hoboken, is so hotly anticipated that they're even hotly anticipating it from across the river in restaurant-rife New York City.

The barbecue joint was the only eatery outside of New York City to be included on the website Eater's shortlist of "NYC’s Most Anticipated Restaurant Openings, Fall 2021" last week.

The eatery's owner told Patch that they are likely opening in October.

The eatery has already been previewing some of its dishes on Instagram, such as Baby Back Mac & Cheese.
