Hoboken Cops: Man Found In Pool Of Blood At McDonald’s
A man had 3 teeth knocked out during an assault in Hoboken. Police found them on the ground next to the victim near a pool of blood.

HOBOKEN, NJ — Hoboken police arrived at a local McDonald’s on New Year’s Day to find a victim of a fight lying unconscious on the floor, face down in a pool of blood. Three of the man’s teeth were knocked out during the assault, which officers found on the ground next to him, authorities said.
According to the Hoboken Police Department, officers arrived at the McDonald’s on Washington Street around 7 a.m. after receiving a report about a fight in progress. The officers found an unconscious male victim on the ground “face down in a pool of blood.” Blood was coming from his face and three teeth – knocked out during the fight – were lying next to him.
Witnesses told officers that they saw two white males in their late 20s or 30s wearing all black run away from the McDonald’s and flee eastbound on Third Street.

The witnesses said that the victim was fighting with his alleged assailants, which caused him to fall to the ground and hit his face, police said.
After conducting a follow-up investigation and checking surveillance video of the scene, Hoboken police identified a 34-year-old Hoboken man as one of the alleged assailants. According to police, the footage showed the man strike the victim's face with his fist and then kick him twice as he was lying on the floor.

The Hoboken resident later surrendered himself to police custody. He was processed and charged with aggravated assault, and was released from police headquarters pending a court hearing, authorities said.
The charges against the resident were later dismissed, according to court records.
