Hoboken Cops Nab Robbery Suspect After Foot Chase On Jackson Street
The 25-year-old Hoboken resident is a suspect in an Aug. 9 robbery, police say.

Hoboken police arrested a robbery suspect for aggravated assault after he tried to flee from arresting officers early Wednesday morning.
According to police, officers recognized Jonathan Walker, 25, of Hoboken, as a robbery suspect with an outstanding warrant while he was sitting with several other men outside 510 Jackson Street around 12:45 a.m.
After ordering Walker to stop, he took off running and police gave chase, eventually catching up to him on Harrison Street.

Walker and an officer sustained minor injuries during the arrest process, police stated.
Walker was charged with robbery, obstructing and aggravated assault. Bail was set at $25,000 full for the robbery charge, $10,000 full for the assault charge and $1,000 for the obstructing charge.
