Hoboken High Dresses Down And Raises Money For Children's Hospital
Encouraged by a recent alumna, the National Honor Society at Hoboken High School raised hundreds of dollars for a children's hospital.

HOBOKEN, NJ — The Hoboken High School National Honor Society on Jan. 21 hosted a schoolwide dress-down day and raised hundreds of dollars for the National Network of Specialized Children's Hospitals. And it came about because of a recent graduate.
The high school's National Honor Society was invited by Angelene Veloce — a 2019 alumna of the high school and a current student at the Stevens Institute of Technology in Hoboken — to get involved with StevensTHON, an annual fundraiser.
Veloce had been the president of the NHS at the high school.
