Hoboken Officials Cut Ribbon On New Bank of America Center

Officials from Hoboken and Bank of America cut the ribbon on the new financial center Thursday.

HOBOKEN, NJ — The Bank of America held a ribbon cutting Thursday at their new Hoboken branch at 55 Washington St.

The new 5,895 square foot financial center has six private offices and three ATM machines.

It replaces two smaller locations that closed in the mile-square city in 2023.

There is also a standalone Bank of America ATM machine at the shopping plaza at 400 Newark St.

On hand for the ribbon-cutting Thursday were Hoboken Mayor Ravi Bhalla, Hudson County Commissioner Anthony Romano, and new 1st Ward Councilman Paul Presinzano.

Also on hand were Bank of America officials, including Alberto Garofalo, the market president of Bank of America New Jersey, who noted that he had grown up in West New York and graduated from Memorial High School.
