Kids And COVID Vaccines: Almost All In Hoboken 12 And Over Have Gotten First Shot

The city of Hoboken released updated COVID vaccination numbers this week as cases drop, including high vaccination rates for those over 12.

HOBOKEN, NJ — The city of Hoboken said this week that almost all residents 12 and over have gotten at least one dose of the COVID vaccine.

The CDC considers people fully vaccinated two weeks after their final shot.

Of Hoboken residents 12 and over, 98 percent have gotten their first dose as of this past weekend. For 30 and over, 99 percent have gotten their first dose.

As for both doses, 83 percent of those 12 and over have gotten them, and 89 percent of residents 30 and over.

  • 12 and over: 98 percent (first dose)
  • 18 and over: 94 percent (first dose)
  • 30 and over: 99 percent (first dose)
  • 65 and over: nearly 100 percent (first dose)
  • All ages: 73 percent (second dose)
  • 12 and over: 83 percent (second dose)
  • 18 and over: 80 percent (second dose)
  • 30 and over: 89 percent (second dose)
  • 65 and over: nearly 100 percent (second dose)

Local Test And Vaccine Clinic Schedule

The city offers testing and vaccine clinics through partnerships with local providers multiple times per week at 601 Jackson St. and 605 Jackson St. Appointments are required and they can be booked online at www.hobokennj.gov/vaccine or www.hobokennj.gov/testing.
