Officers then found Huayamave, 23, on 76th Street between Cottage Avenue and Tonnelle Avenue, more than 10 blocks from the bike.

Huayamave was rushed to Palisades Medical Center, where he died about 9:40 p.m.

Palacios was driving a blue Honda Civic and was involved in a collision with the Huayamave on his motorcycle operated by Huayamave, investigators said. Palacios did not remain at the scene, prosecutors said.

Prosecutor Suarez credited the Hudson County Regional Collision Investigation Unit and the
North Bergen Police Department with the investigation and arrest.
