Man Refuses To Leave Hoboken McDonald’s, Threatens Cop: Police
Hoboken police arrested a New York man after he allegedly made threats to kill an officer and refused to leave a local McDonald's.

HOBOKEN, NJ — Hoboken police arrested a New York man earlier this week after he allegedly made threats to kill an officer and refused to leave a local McDonald’s, authorities said.
According to the Hoboken Police Department, an officer was called to the McDonald’s on Washington Street after a man allegedly refused to leave the restaurant. On arrival, the officer found the man – later identified as Nasie Ferderer, 48, of New York, “acting in a disturbing manner” by throwing his hands up in the air and speaking to himself.
Ferderer refused to obey the officer’s commands to leave the restaurant and continued his behavior. The officer then attempted to remove Ferderer from the premises “in a safe manner” but didn’t have success, authorities said.

At that time, Ferderer allegedly “made threats to kill and assault the officer if he attempted to remove him.” He then refused to provide his ID and tried to walk away. When the officer tried to stop Ferderer, he “swung his elbow in an attempt to strike the officer,” authorities said.
The officer was able to safely subdue and arrest Ferderer, who provided a false name to police while being processed, authorities said.
