Residents Grab Discarded Adult Toys After Flooding In Hoboken
Residents who had to toss out adult toys or other items due to flooding from Hurricane Ida can apply to FEMA.
HOBOKEN, NJ — After Tropical Depression Ida drenched Hoboken, N.J. with at least five inches of rain on Sept. 1, there were casualties large and very small. This week, a trading company put out what appeared to be at least five damaged boxes of wrapped adult toys on a Hoboken street, luring locals who helped themselves to the bounty.
"It's free," said one man who shoved several items into his tool box on Wednesday afternoon. "It can't get no better." He said he would give them to friends.
But he said he was disappointed that people made a mess and didn't clean up after themselves.
