Carlstadt Man, 38, Killed In Parkway Motorcycle Crash In Holmdel

The man who was killed in a fatal motorcycle accident on the Garden State Parkway in Holmdel Sunday​ has been identified as Devin Flores, 38

HOLMDEL, NJ — The man who was killed in a fatal motorcycle accident on the Garden State Parkway in Holmdel Sunday has been identified as Devin Flores, 38, of Carlstadt.

The accident occurred at 12:40 p.m. Sunday, June 30 at mile marker 116, right across from the PNC Bank Arts Center on the Parkway northbound, according to State Police. The accident involved three vehicles: Two motorcycles and a Subaru Legacy.

Flores struck the back of the Subaru and was thrown from his motorbike. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

A GoFundMe page for Flores was started by Devoe Group, a real estate agency based in Montclair and part of Keller Williams. Flores worked there.

"Devin Flores touched the lives of everyone he came in contact with," they wrote. "He was one of the most selfless, giving, and warm-hearted individuals that walked upon this earth, and all of us over were lucky enough to call him a colleague and friend."

The money raised will help his family bury him, the Devoe Group said. So far, $3,800 has been raised of their $20,000 goal.

The other motorcyclist, also a man, was taken to a local hospital for minor injuries, said police. The driver of the Subaru did not appear to be injured.
