Gambling Out Of Control? Hazlet Program Can Help
"Signs & Consequences in 2022" is the topic of a discussion about problem gambling Wednesday night at the Hazlet Library.
HAZLET, NJ — The latest gambling trends in the state and the issues they cause are the topics of discussion at the Hazlet Library Wednesday night.
"Signs & Consequences in 2022" is the title of the program being held from 6:30 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Wednesday, Aug. 10, at the library. It is sponsored by the Council on Compulsive Gambling of New Jersey.
A recovery specialist from the council will outline the warning signs of someone engaging in excessive gambling, the impact on various age groups and the stages of the addictive behavior.

It will review recovery options and the treatment available to those suffering from problem gambling, including family members.
There will be time for the audience to ask questions throughout the seminar. Council brochures will be available.
