$1M Maintenance Continues on River Styx Bridge

Repairs to finish by November, county says.

Hopatcong's River Styx Bridge has been under construction since March 11. The bridge was awarded $1 million through the 2010 Local Bridges, Future Needs Program and about $100,000 from Sussex County.

Recently, the county's Department of Engineering and Planning released a status update on the construction, which is being handled of Merco, Inc. of Lebanon and is expected to be finished in November with little traffic delays between.

The county said three of 11 upper piles have been repaired.
