- You Need to Know They're Good: Like, really good. Ramsey (8-1) has steamrolled most of its 2011 opponents, save for a 31-0 loss to River Dell. The Rams have shut out four squads and allowed just 79 points all season. Ramsey's last win was a 35-0 drubbing of Englewood.
- You Need to Know Their Star: As running back DeJean Adair goes, so does Ramsey. Adair returns kicks and stars in the Rams' backfield. If Hopatcong wants to advance, it'll have to at least contain Adair.
- You Need to Know They're Tough at Home: The hallmark of any good team? Strength at home. And Ramsey has plenty of it. The high-powered Rams are 5-1 at home.
- You Need to Know They've Been Here Before: Ramsey won the 2009 North 1, Group 2 crown. Some of that squad's young athletes are its key contributors today.
- You Need to Know They're Some Smart Kids: The Washington Post ranked Ramsey High School No. 61 in New Jersey and No. 1,743 in the nation in 2011. And Newsweek said Ramsey was one of the nation's top 500 high schools.
