Anti-Trump, Pro-Trump Boaters To Parade Around Lake Hopatcong
President Donald Trump will be in New Jersey this weekend, and it will be commemorated two different ways at Lake Hopatcong.

NORTH JERSEY - President Donald Trump is expected to spend another weekend in New Jersey at his Bernardsville golf course and there will be a pair of competing boat parades to honor the occasion on Saturday.
According to a Facebook event invite, the boat parade in support of President Trump will meet at the mouth of Byram Bay on the main lakeside at 11 a.m. and then follow the shoreline to the state park and back around the main lake to the staring point.
Organizers are asking that participants bring their vessel decked out with American flags, Trump flags, patriotic gear and that patriotic clothing is encouraged.

At the exact same time a "No Hate On Our Lake" rally is being assembled at the River Styx by boat or on the River Styx Bridge to protest the pro-Trump rally.
"We will ride alongside the Trump supporters and demonstrate that our community doesn't stand for hate," organizer Matthew Steinbaum said.

Participants are being asked to bring signs, pro-Biden and other anti-Trump items. Steinbaum wrote on the event page that he wanted to ensure this rally failed like Trump's Oklahoma rally did.
"Let’s make sure that the Trump supporter rally on Lake Hopatcong this Saturday is also a flop," he said. "Join us and protest."
While visiting the Garden State, Trump will not have to follow Gov. Phil Murphy's 14-day quarantine despite recently traveling from a Arizona, a high-infection state, and now heading to Bedminster this weekend.
"There is a carve out for essential workers and I think by any definition the President of the United States is an essential worker," Murphy said.
