Talk about big fish to fry.
Jim Welsh reeled in a 20-pound, 1-ounce channel catfish from Lake Hopatcong on Tuesday. Welsh, a Knee Deep Club member, broke the club's previous channel catfish record of 18 pounds.
KDC member Lou Marcucci said Welsh was using a Heddon Sonar bait off Pickerel Point when he snagged the mammoth fish.
