Sussex County's free class helps residents connect with a wide range of sources and services while helping them plan for long-term and community-based care.

Got a loved one for whom you're considering long-term care? Sussex County might just be able to help. Here are five things you need to know about an upcoming class designed to help those seeking long-term care.
- You Need to Know the Information You'll Get: You'll learn to connect with a wide range of services and resources, such as Global Options and Jersey Asistance for Community Caregiving programs, while planning for long-term and community-based care.
- You Need to Know the Class is for Seniors, Too: Seniors who want to remain in their own homes but need assistance accessing services, such as home health care, specialized equipment and transportation will also be given information.
- You Need to Know When it's Happening: The hour-long seminar will start at 5:30 p.m.
- You Need to Know Where it's Happening: At Sussex County Homestead at 129 Morris Tpk. in Newton.
- You Need to Know to Register: To register for the free class call the Sussex County Division of Senior Services at (973) 579-0555 ex. 1224.
