Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage Sparta Office Supports Comfort Zone Camp As Part Of Companywide “Cares Days” Event

SPARTA, N.J. – (April 16, 2014) – The Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage Sparta office is supporting Comfort Zone Camp, a bereavement camp for children, as part of “Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage Cares Days,” in which each of the real estate company’s 56 offices in New Jersey and Rockland County, N.Y. will be giving back to local communities through charitable efforts April 24-26. The second annual Cares Days event is organized through the Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage Cares Foundation, the company’s philanthropic arm.

Sales associates affiliated with the Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage Sparta office are raising funds to help send at least 15 grieving children to Comfort Zone Camp, which would cost $7,500. Their fundraising website is www.firstgiving.com/fundraiser/sparta/cbrbspartateam. All donations the community can offer are appreciated.

The office also has a collection box at its 24 White Deer Plaza location on the Sparta boardwalk to accept donations of supplies for the camp such as arts and crafts items; toiletries including bug spray and sunscreen; electronics like walkie talkies. digital cameras, flashlights and batteries; outdoor sporting equipment; cabin needs like sleeping bags and bedding; and gift cards for Target or Wal-Mart.

Charlene Fiorita, the branch vice president of Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage in Sparta, along with sales associates Lucia Zampini, Gina Lancellotti and Esther Hallacker, will also be volunteering for the Comfort Zone Camp session the weekend of June 6.

The Sparta office is also volunteering at several area nursing homes, scheduled on May 8 at Valley View Care Center and Barn Hill Care Center in Newton, and May 15 at Homestead Rehabilitation and Health Care Center in Newton, and Andover SubAcute Nursing Home in Andover. The sales associates will be giving flowers to each resident and playing bingo with them.

During the first annual Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage Cares Days event in 2013, approximately 800 Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage sales associates volunteered a combined 5,000 hours to support 62 different organizations and causes. During the three-day event, the Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage Cares Foundation raised $13,000 for charitable causes, as well as collecting 5,000 pounds of food valued at $13,900 and $750 in dog and cat supplies.
