Scouts Invite Alumni to Reconnect with Scouting
SPARTA, NJ – The Sussex
District, Boy Scouts of America invite former and current Scouting alumni to
attend Connect with Scouting, an
alumni event being held on May 5 at 6:30 p.m. located at the Mohawk House (3
Sparta Avenue) in Sparta. The event will
be hosted by current Scout volunteers and the Patriots’ Path Boy Scout Council.

“Much
has changed in Scouting, as we help today’s youth be prepared for life, but the
important things have stayed the same,” said Alison McHose, Sussex county district
chairperson.
The
evening program will include a discussion on some of the new 21st
century merit badges; STEM in Patriots’ Path Council; our Alumni Adventure to
New Mexico and Philmont; the LEDR program and the 2015 Liberty Jamboree.

Alumni
will be able to reconnect with old friends and make new ones. They will also have the opportunity to
network and share business information with other attendees. The
event is being held at no cost to the attendees.
