CCM Feels DeCroce's 'Great Loss'

GOP assemblyman was on college's board of trustees.

While the purpose of his appearance on the John Gambling Show wasn't to discuss the passing of Assemblyman Alex DeCroce, County College of Morris (CCM) President Edward Yaw's dialogue with guest host Steve Adubato quickly turned to the topic during their WOR News Radio interview.

"He was here when I first came here 30 years ago," Yaw said. "He was on the board of trustees for years and chairman of the board for four."

DeCroce served on the CCM board of trustees  from 1971-72 and 1973-82 and was chairman from 1977-81. As a board member, DeCroce was known for his concern about economically less privileged students, something President Yaw himself is known for.

of us."
