AUGUSTA, NJ—When the lights go down, the sky lights up! For this year’s 75th anniversary celebration of the New Jersey State Fair/Sussex County Farm & Horse Show, the fireworks are making a grand comeback!
The Fair is full of lights at night. From spinning carnival rides to vendor stalls, nights at The Fair are full of color and excitement. This year, Fairgrounds organizers are taking it up a notch, including a bright and beautiful light show! From screaming sparklers to big booms, the fireworks display is sure to amaze Fairgoers young and old.
The best part? The fireworks are free with purchase of Fair admission! While you can likely see the fireworks from anywhere near the event, your best place to watch will be in The Fairgrounds themselves! Enjoy a fun-filled day of rides, exhibits, and activities, then end the night with the best seat for the fireworks.

While the rest of The Fair runs from July 31-August 9, the fireworks will only be launched on the first day, July 31. Dusk marks the launch time, so make sure that you visit The Fair on the first Friday!
Tickets can be purchased at The Fairgrounds office or at local partners in the surrounding areas.
