Governor Murphy's Executive Order 107 directing all state residents to stay at home until further notice.

Please be advised that Governor Murphy signed Executive Order 107 today directing all state residents to stay at home until further notice. The order provides for certain exceptions, such as obtaining essential goods or services, seeking medical attention, visiting family or close friends, reporting to work, or engaging in outdoor activities. The Executive Order further directs the closure of all non-essential retail businesses to the public with certain exceptions (see order).

This action is taken to help mitigate the impact and spread of the COVID-19 pandemic in the state. The Township supports the actions. It has and will continue to take steps necessary to help implement this directive to help provide for the health and safety of the residents of Sparta. We appreciate your support, understanding, and cooperation during these challenging times.
