Health Screenings Available for Uninsured

Sussex County has scheduled several heath screenings (including one in Hopatcong) for county residents who have no insurance to cover routine screenings, and for participants in New Jersey Cancer Early Education and Detection.

The screenings are:

Chem 18/Blood Screening

Oct 29. (a Saturday), from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Cost: $25.00

Women’s Health Screening (includes thin-prep PAP test)
New Perspectives Health Care
13A Main St., Sparta
Nov. 2 (a Wednesday), from 5 to 8 p.m.
Cost: $25.00

Men’s Health Screening

111 River Styx Road, Hopatcong
Nov. 9 (a Wednesday), from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m.
Cost: $25.00

Registration is required. Call 973-579-0570, ext. 1211. Residents who have health insurance, Medicare, or Medicaid are not eligible for these services.
