Hopatcong Basketball's Hunter Guard: A Scorer, and a History Buff

has many talented athletes roaming its hallways and wearing its colors. Each week, Hopatcong Patch will grab one of the Chiefs' most outstanding players for our "Chief of the Week" feature.
This week, we've got Hunter guard, a junior forward on the basketball team, which is 3-0. Guard scored 24 points in Thursday's win over Dover, and was solid in Hopatcong's first two victories.

Which sports do you play?
Baseball and basketball.

Which position do you play in baseball?
Third base and I pitch.
Which do you like more: baseball or basketball?
At this point I would have to say basketball. I've been playing basketball since fourth grade.
If you had to be any animal, which would it be?
I don't know, man. A lion. He's the king of the jungle.
Favorite movie of all time?
Remember the Titans. Gets me pumped. I just like to watch it. Gets me going.
Favorite music?
Rap. I listen to Drake. I like what he raps about and where he came from. Lil Wayne, too.
Does basketball run in your family?
My dad played in college. I think he played at Keystone College.
Pre-game ritual?
Nah. No pre-game rituals.
How do you hope to improve your game this year?
Got to work on my rebounding and defense. Those are probably my weak points.
Favorite class?
Lunch. No, that's not a class. History. It's just interesting. I like reading about World War 2.
