
Despite 17 points from Hunter Guard and 14 points from Vinny Marinoni, the Hopatcong boys fell to Voorhees, 62-58, in the first round of the Hopatcong Tournament on Tuesday.
While Hopatcong found itself trailing 25-16 heading into halftime, Guard and Marinoni led a second half surge that saw Hopatcong erase the early deficit and take the game into overtime.
But in the OT period, Vorhees outscored Hopatcong 10-6 to take home its second win of the season and send Hopatcong to an early tournament exit.

Jack Caffrey netted a game-high 24 points for Voorhees (2-2).
