Hopatcong's Tobin Drops 28 in College Win
East Stroudsburg University's freshman guard has continued his scoring ways since departing the Chiefs as Sussex County's all-time high school scoring leader.

Hopatcong's Matt Tobin went off for a career-high 28 points as East Stroudsburg University dropped Cheyney, 87-73, Wednesday night.
The Warriors freshman guard shot 9-for-12, including 6 of 7 from the three-point line and 4-for-4 from the foul line. He also had a team-high five assists and three steals. Tobin's six three's were tied for the most in a Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference game this season.
Tobin had 18 first-half points, giving East Stroudsburg a 35-34 halftime lead. His smooth shooting continued into the second half as he scored 10 points—all in the first seven minutes—as the Warriors busted things open with a 22-4 run. The stretch included 17 straight points, capped by Tobin's sixth three-pointer of the game that put the Warriors ahead 57-38 with 13:12 left.
