IS AMERICA STILL A MELTING POT?

We need to stop hiding behind the phrase "America is a melting pot", It really isn't true today.It use to be that immigrants were proud to jump in the pot and melt their traditions together with the traditions of all the other nations, and all together we made a great recipe for America one of respect and the feeling that this is home for all. Immigrants of generations past were proud to learn English, and find work to contribute to their new home. 

Today immigrants come to America legally or illegally, but ether way they no longer bring their traditions to the pot to melt their contributions to be a part of our already good recipe. instead they expect us to learn their languages, supply shelter, medical, education,etc. Today Immigrants (with the help and protection of the liberals), want their own pot, they have no desire to be a part of our melted pot, they rather throw our pot out, the pot that has been melted by the blood sweat tears and joys of the many cultures and generations before and including us. and they want, and expect us to just roll over and let them take our home, our country away with out a fight, Well, That's just not going to happen.

Melting pot seems to be used more as a weapon to strike down anyone that dares to say "I love America".

Hey Immigrant you thinking of moving here? you want respect? then give it. Respect is earned, so get in line , follow the proper procedures, throw your ingredients in to our pot and give us time to get use to the new flavor. God bless America
