Hopatcong will host a public hearing that could reshape the future of the land near the intersection on Oct. 4.

Please take notice that a public hearing will be held by the Borough of Hopatcong Planning Board on Tuesday, October 4, 2011 at 7:30 P.M. in the Borough Hall Meeting Room, Borough Hall, 111 River Styx Road Hopatcong, NJ 07843 for the purpose of adopting the 2001 Amendment to the Future Land Use Recommendations. The purpose of the 2011 Amendment to the Future Land Use Recommendations is to review and evaluate a request for a rezoning of the B-1 District along the south side of Sussex County Route 607 (Maxim Drive) near its intersection with Sussex County 609 (Indian Trail).  Any interested parties may attend such public hearing and will be afforded the opportunity to be heard.

A copy of the 2011 Amendment to the Future Land Use Recommendations is available for inspection in the Office of the Borough Clerk, Borough Hall, 111 River Styx Road Hopatcong, NJ 07843 between the hours of 9:00 A.M. and 4:00 P.M. Monday through Friday.
