Letter: Hopatcong Youth Soccer to Help Breast Cancer Fight
Club plans to give donations to Susan G. Komen for the Cure Foundation.
The Hopatcong Hawks youth soccer club has big plans for October—otherwise known as Breast Cancer Awareness Month.
And the Hawks aren't the only group ready to fight breast cancer. The high school football and soccer teams have plans, too. Click for more.

During the month of October, the Hopatcong Hawks youth soccer program will be doing all it can to help the movement to prevent breast cancer. All travel teams will be playing in PINK leg bands to raise awareness; all home games will be played with the "Select The Cure" soccer ball; and the concession stand will be asking for donations in which a $5 minimum donation will receive a “Help the Hawks Kick Breast Cancer” mini soccer ball. All proceeds will be going to the Susan G. Komen for the Cure Foundation.
With half of the program being young ladies, this is an important cause. Our hope is that none of our girls will ever require the treatment necessary in years to come because we are doing our part as a club and community to “HELP THE HAWKS KICK BREAST CANCER."
