Man Charged In 19 Car Burglaries: Hopatcong Police

Police say the man confessed to the burglaries.

HOPATCONG, NJ — Police have arrested a man in connection to 19 car burglaries in Hopatcong, they announced on Facebook.

On March 23, Christopher Faulkner was charged with 19 counts of burglary, criminal mischief, and theft of $2,3000 worth of property in connection to a string of car burglaries in May and June 2016, police said.

Police say forensic evidence led them to Faulkner, and Faulkner admitted during questioning.
