Man Electrocuted By Downed Power Lines In North Jersey
The man was pronounced dead after touching live wires Friday night, multiple media outlets said.

ANDOVER, NJ — An Andover man died after being shocked by downed power lines following Friday's nor'easter, Andover police told media outlets.
A 41-year-old man came into contact with downed power lines near Lenape Ave around 6:45 p.m. Friday night, nj.com reported. His name was not released. The man was pronounced dead at the scene, and is the ninth person killed in the wake of the heavy storm, PIX11 said.
JCP&L asked police departments to warn residents about the dangers of downed power lines.

"They [JCP&L] noted a fatality pertaining to an exposed live wire so please exercise caution and stay away from fallen trees and wires. Sometimes the wires are not exposed, covered with debris and snow," Andover Police said.
On Saturday, a 44-year-old woman was injured after a large tree fell on her while she was walking her dog. The woman's leg was pinned beneath the tree, and she was transported for Hackensack University Medical Center for treatment.
