PHOTOS: Football Rally Draws Huge Crowd

Rain washed out the Hopatcong Warriors first attempt at a pep rally Wednesday.

But nothing could damped the youth football program's spirits Sunday.

The Warriors football and cheerleading squads kicked off their seasons right, drawing hundreds of cheering fans to Hopatcong High School. The children raced onto the field, pumped up the crowd and generated good spirits they hope will last through the fall.

But it wasn't all fun and games. At 1 p.m., the crowd went silent to mark the 10th anniversary of 9/11.
