ANDOVER, NJ — A pilot was injured when the small plane he were piloting crashed into a lake in Andover, multiple media outlets reported.
The pilot took off from Aeroflex-Andover Airport Monday morning, NJ.com reported. The plane went off the runway and crashed into the nearby lake, where the pilot reportedly freed himself and swam to safety. It was not immediately clear how serious the pilot's injuries were.
There were no other passengers in the plane.
