Rain Washes Out Monday's High School Sports

Rain, rain ... you know the rest.

sports were canceled Monday afternoon due to rain. Baseball was supposed to travel to Mount Olive. Boys tennis was supposed to play in the Hunterdon Warren Sussex Tournament.

Athletic Director Tom Vara said Tuesday's schedule might also get rained out. He said the high school baseball field doesn't dry well and it could be too soggy—even if the rain stops—for a game against rival Lenape Valley High School.
