Raptors Win Hopatcong Baseball Title

Squad takes home Minor Division crown on Tuesday night, and celebrates like pros—kind of.

These kids know how to celebrate.

Instead of champagne, the Raptors used sparkling apple cider to toast their Hopatcong Little League Minor Division crown on Tuesday.

Hopatcong Little League hosted its championship game for the Minor Division on Tuesday night between the Raptors and the Lugnuts. The game went six innings with the Raptors winning, 15-8.

Coaches Steve Serocke, Anthony Perretti, Ryan Hakim and Eric Herman are new coaches to the league this year began the season saying, "we are going to the championship." And they did. They finished the season with 13 wins and five losses.

The team celebrated with sparkling apple cider! The boys partied like they won the World Series!  It was a good year for the Hopatcong Raptors.
