For years, one Chinese take-out spot had a stranglehold over the market in Hopatcong. After all, it was the only one in the borough.

Then another moved in, and it was on.

The question became, Where can I get the better grub? The veteran or the upstart ?

And while both coexisted, with each seemingly serving its portion of Hopatcong, the query remains.
