River Styx Bridge Repairs Continue
County releases status update on Hopatcong bridge.

Looks like the $1 million repairs to the River Styx Bridge will be finished on schedule.
The Sussex County Department of Engineering and Planning recently released a project status update on what it calls Bridge K-05. The project, which began in March, still seems to be on track to finish in November.

The project was funded with $1 million from the 2010 New Jersey Local Bridges, Future Needs Program and $106,640 from Sussex County.
It's mostly done, according to the update, which said repairs to the upper pile are about 90 percent finished. The update also said the secondary substructure's basing is almost complete, along with cleaning and applying protective coating to substructure members.
