The River Styx Road salon was chosen No. 1 among three of the borough's options during voting, which spanned from 5 a.m. Monday to 9 a.m. Friday.

Owner Kathy Benemerito said she was "honored" to win the contest.

"Thank you to everyone who voted for us," she said, "and has been to our business over the years. I'm very lucky to have such wonderful employees that have helped us become what we are."
