Student Art Showcase Bows at Anne's Artistic Journeys in Lake Hopatcong

Looking for something to do by yourself, or with friends and family this weekend? The Weekender spotlights an event coming up in and near Hopatcong Borough.


Take a trek into the fine arts Saturday. Anne's Artistic Journeys presents its annual Art Show and Open House at its gallery at 5 Bowling Green Parkway, Suite 13 in Lake Hopatcong.

The free event presents the creations of Anne's Artistic Journey students, who range in age from four to adult. On display will be drawings, mixed media renderings, acrylic paintings, sculpture, hand-blown and wheel-thrown pottery pieces and more. 

The exhibition runs Saturday from 3:30-8:30 p.m. and is open to the public. Food and refreshments will be served.
