As of 12:00 AM on April 9, 2020 the Sussex County Division of Health (SCDOH) was notified of 35 additional cases of COVID-19 among county residents. The total number of cases of COVID-19 in Sussex County is at 390.

Sussex County Freeholder Director Sylvia Petillo and the Sussex County Division of Health (SCDOH) are saddened to announce that they have been notified of two additional COVID-19- related deaths in Sussex County, the first in a 78 year- old female from Andover Township, and the second in a 75 year- old female, also from Andover Township. The SCDOH has been working with those individuals who came into contact with these patients.
