Sussex County Offers Medicare Help

The Sussex County Department of Human Services Division of Senior Services will provide free one-on-one assistance during the Medicare Part D Prescription Drug Annual Open Enrollment Period from Oct. 15 to Dec. 7.

Here are five things you need to know about the assistance.

1. You Need to Know Where: Programs will be conducted at several locations throughout the county, including Frankford, Franklin, Vernon, Sparta, Stanhope and Newton.
2. You Need to Know What You'll Get: Medicare beneficiares can meet state counselors to review their plans and get information.
3. You Need to Know Why You Should Go: Because adjustments are often made to prescription drug plans, regarding cost and coverage.
