You could call this something other than awesome. But, of course, you'd be lying.

Hopatcong knows Joe Martinek's story by now. So here's the Cliff Notes version: he broke more records than a bad turntable, brought state hardware to the Chiefs and ended up as one of the featured running backs at Rutgers University, where he's entering his senior season.

And while some didn't hear of hard-working Martinek until his high school days, many saw him breaking tackles and dodging defenders with the Hopatcong Warriors. In fact, someone caught it on camera. This video shows that Martinek was highlight-reel ready at a young age.
