Behind the strong and clutch pitching of Christian Ammiano and Brennan Dickens, Hopatcong beat Stillwater-Fredon, 19-3, in a first round District 20 Junior Little League all-star game, Monday night at Senior field. Hopatcong also pounded out 12 hits, lead by the 3-for-3 performances of C.J. Robertson and Dalton Del Rosso. P.J. Rodick and Ben Carreno also contributed with two hits each. Hopatcong head coach Dave Ammiano stated that the boys played an overall solid game in which the entire team contributed to the victory. Hopatcong’s next game is Thursday at Lakeland.
