JEFFERSON, NJ — Jefferson Township police responded to multiple calls for service other the past month, including for heroin, drunk driving, and disorderly conduct. You can read about their recent activity as shared by the JTPD here:

7/1/17, Loud Noise Complaint leads to CDS Arrest: Richard Peterson 21, of Lake Hopatcong was found to be in possession of marijuana and paraphernalia while operating a motor vehicle. He was arrested, issued a summons and released pending a court date.

6/30/17, Traffic Stop Leads to Arrest: Timothy Daniels, 27, of Newark was found to be suspended and the subject of a NJSP $500 warrant. Daniels was delivered to NJSP after receiving his summonses.

7/1/17, DWI: Officer Stokes stopped Rachel Secula, 33, of Great Meadows operating a MV in the Mason Street area. She was arrested and charged with DWI. She was processed and issued motor vehicle summons pending a court date.

6/30/17, DWI: Jessica Dellorto, 24, of Rockaway, was stopped in the area of the Tap House operating a MV. She was subsequently arrested for DWI. She was processed and issued motor vehicle summons pending a court date.17-10503,

6/30/17, CDS Arrest: Kerrie Sullivan, 46, was arrested during a MV Stop for possession of heroin. She was arrested and issued complaint summons pending a court date.

7/13/17 Dispute / disorderly conduct: Club 15 unwanted person who was told to leave refused to do so. Jahod A. Haynesworth, 32, of Flanders, was arrested for defiant trespassing, disorderly conduct and was processed and given a ride to MCCF after a warrant was issued with no bail.

7/29/2017, Assist NJSP Marine Division on a drowning on Lake Hopatcong: JTRS responded, treated and transported the victim to the hospital and was pronounced dead a short time later. The call was handled by NJSP Marine Division. (Read Patch's full report here).
