Proud Falcon Mom is Fan of the Week
She's had two sons play Falcon football, with one more to come.
Each week, Jefferson Patch will feature one of the Falcons football team's biggest fans. We'll get to know each of them a little, and find out what makes them follow Jefferson gridiron stars so closely. This week, we meet Donna Strumolo.
- Who's your favorite Falcon: Steven Strumolo, my son.
- What has been your favorite Falcon moment: When both my sons, Frank and Steve, played and contributed to the state championship game in 2008.
- What's your favorite concession food? Never eat it because I’m too nervous at game time.
- What's the best part of a game that gets the least attention: The offensive line.
- How long have you been attending games: Well, both kids have played since they were in second grade. Now one’s a senior in high school and the other is a sophomore in college.
- Craziest thing you've ever done as a fan: When my kid is about to score a TD I’ve run out of the bleachers then down to the track and then I run all the way to the end zone with him.
