Jersey City High Schools Evacuated After Bomb Threat: Reports
A pair of high schools in Jersey City were temporarily evacuated after receiving bomb threats, authorities said.

JERSEY CITY, NJ — A pair of high schools in Jersey City were temporarily evacuated on Friday after receiving bomb threats, authorities said.
Emergency responders evacuated students and staff from County Prep High School and McNair High School after threats were received around 11 a.m. They were allowed to return to the building at 1 p.m., a Jersey City Public School District official told NJ.com.
"Both schools were immediately evacuated and have been deemed safe," Jersey City police spokeswoman Ashley Manz told NJ101.5.

Phone threats were also reportedly made to Linden High School, Benjamin Franklin Elementary School and Lawrenceville Elementary School in Lawrenceville on Friday. Each building was eventually declared safe and students allowed to return to class. It’s unknown if the incidents are related, NJ.com stated.
